Registration is open for the 2017 OPHA Accreditation Readiness Training on May 15th! The training is geared for Public Health Nurses, including supervisors and directors, as well as nursing faculty and students, and other professionals interested in Public Health Board Accreditation for Ohio’s local public health departments.
The focus of the training will be on:
• Accreditation timeline, processes, workplans, resources
• Engaging local health department (LHD) governing body and leadership,
• The Accreditation Coordinator’ role and responsibilities, and
• The Accreditation Committee- building and maintaining the
committee, committee responsibilities,
It will include opportunities for networking, sharing, group work and discussions. CEs are available.
*OPHA is providing another training the week of May 22nd that builds on this content.
