Governor DeWine Vetoed Important Line Items

Governor DeWine has vetoed several important line items in the budget that worked against public health efforts in the state.  Included on that list are several tobacco related provisions (#21, #22, #23) as well as the preemption language (prohibition on local control of tobacco and nicotine regulations) (#24), and student authority to decline vaccines at certain colleges and universities (#40).  The Governor’s veto of these items is a positive step for public health in Ohio.  Thank you, Governor DeWine!
